We take your health seriously - almost as seriously as you do.
Back when the bush-fires were around Tasmania in 2018-2019, we introduced the latest in air purifiers. We have done thorough research since covid and have introduced additional measures such as ground-breaking Ultra-violet C (UVC) (non-ozone emitting) irradiation germicidal light exposure to our client areas to deal with airborne and surface bacteria/virus.
Instead of limiting entry to only double-vaxed-Tasmanian-only clients, we have gone back to the drawing board and understood the task. We are simply treating everyone as if they have covid. OUR TASK IS TO STOP THE SPREAD AND KEEP EVERYONE SAFE. We figured, if we can protect ourselves, we can protect those coming through the doors.
Here's how we're doing it.
We have engineered an AUTOMATED SANITISING (WIFI-ENABLED) system to allow for 3 x state-of-the-art air purifiers and 4 x Ultra-violet C (non-ozone emitting) irradiation germicidal lamps to be working between clients.
Here's a quick breakdown:
- All clients will deposit items into a freshly (auto-)sanitised box upon entry (everything apart from the clothes clients are wearing, including jackets, bags, purse, handbags, caps, shoes) - these items will only be touched again upon leaving the premises.
- Once items are deposited, hands are sanitised before entry into premises.
- At the consultation room, the space is freshly sanitised (with UVC lamp 10 minutes between clients). The air is constantly purified (HEPA 1 micron), keeping the breathing air clean.
- In the treatment room, the air is completely purified with 2 large air purifiers, and the entire area has been exposed to UVC lamps.
- Special attention area #1: treatment table, freshly sanitised between clients with a diluted bleach spritz and wipe-down followed by UVC treatment.
- Special attention area #2: the air circulating under the table is segmented with a specially engineered 'air-curtain' with a state-of-the-art air purifier to ensure air under the table is clean - this is two-fold: to ensure that the air beneath the table is clean, AND to ensure the air in the room is as separate as possible to the breath of the client.
- Before the treatment starts, clients deposit all remaining clothes (apart from underwear which are kept on during the duration of the treatment) into another freshly (auto-)sanitised box.
- At the end of the treatment, clients are asked to deposit all used towels and sheets in the auto-sensing, touch-less bin - this reduces contact transference with the therapist.
- Items deposited earlier at the door are now retrieved.
- Pens etc are all sanitised ready for the session.
The following is our updated chart to illustrate the various measures in place in the different areas of our premises.
